I had the day off today as did my kids. I love days like this because it seems like I spend so much time at work instead of with my family. I got up early so I could watch some more Ashes action and then had a great time with the family. Late in the afternoon, I went up the field and practiced some bowling. It was really cold (35 degrees with the wind) so I only practiced for about 45minutes. Spent some more time with the kids and as soon as they went to bed, right back to the Ashes and ended the night reading a couple of short stories form the new F. Scott Fitzgerald book I got from the library. I still cannot put into words how valuable the Ashes DVD has been.
